ANTI-PLAGIARISM POLICY

Star Law Review Derecho y Jurisprudencia maintains a strict policy against plagiarism and any unethical practice throughout all stages of the editorial process. Committed to scientific integrity, the journal ensures that all submitted manuscripts undergo mandatory originality checks using iThenticate, one of the most widely recognized tools for detecting textual similarities.

During the initial evaluation, the editorial team reviews the similarity percentage and the proper citation of sources. If the iThenticate report indicates a high level of similarity or detects matches with other publications without proper acknowledgment, the manuscript will be immediately rejected or returned to the authors for correction, depending on the severity of the case.

Star Law Review Derecho y Jurisprudencia follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and applies its principles to address any incidents of plagiarism, duplication, data manipulation, or other forms of scientific misconduct. In severe cases, the journal reserves the right to inform the authors' affiliated institutions and impose editorial sanctions in accordance with international academic publishing ethics standards.
